Cannabis Sampling Field Tech

A CS Labs Field Tech will often be a producer’s first experience with field sampling. You must:

-Have a working understanding of state requirements and may need to explain the sampling process to producers.

-Drive yourself and equipment to various locations in Oregon (in the company vehicle.) Considering road conditions, appointment time and efficiency.

-Execute the sampling, accurately and in a polite and professional manner upholding laboratory standards

-Record and complete field data, correctly and completely.

 

Training will consist of:

-Learning current statute and regulations for both OMMP producers and OLCC Licensees

-Learning proprietary random sampling methods

-Data entry and document creation (Transport manifests and Chain of Command)

-Transport and delivery protocol

-METRC training

 

A successful candidate will be:

Detail-oriented, responsible, communicative, prompt, flexible, professional, steady and focused. 

Clean driving record

Clean background check

Proficient in MS Office (Excel and Word)

Data entry shortcuts (Copy, Paste etc.)

Ability to lift 50lb case in and out of a vehicle

Ability to maneuver oneself and case in a variety of conditions; mud, rocks and hills. 

Adaptability to outdoor conditions.

Ability to adhere to a schedule and plan for arrivals and deliveries
